With birth years the guiding force of CSDHL organization, comparing Central States to NIHL is difficult. until 5 yrs ago. There are 26 regular season games (no seeding games) and playoffs. CUHL and CSDHL are already run so much better. Teams like Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay and others are just sick and tired playing an independant schedule.
CSDHL is an affiliate of USA Hockey and is governed by the Temperature Hockey Association of Illinois (AHAI), Minor teams are the younger birth year (first years) at any level and a Major team are the older birth year (returning players at that level), The WHA CSDHL Pee Wee Minor team is for 2008 Birth year players. What the moron leadership at NIHL doesn’t understand is most clubs have figured out a way to play this year without the league. Based on feedback from other clubs that have CSDHL teams, there is a higher operating cost in managing CSDHL teams.
